Topper

Topper  (Formula for Speed) is a Thoroughbred gelding born May 6, 2005. He was originally surrendered in 2013 with some minor arthritis.  He was adopted the same year.  and was ridden extensively in jumping and dressage. He came back to the Rescue at the end of December, 2016.  His arthritis is well managed with anti-inflammatories.  He is missing 1 tooth already (broke and had to be extracted) and gets regular dental work.  He is a hard keeper and needs extra feed to maintain his weight, but he is also quite the character.    Topper is very friendly and good to handle.  Topper  is fostered by Janine, one of our board members, along with some of our other special needs horses.
