Shelby

Shelby is a cute little mare that came to the Rescue summer of 2015 from an impound lot.  She was the dam of the paint filly, Solo.  Shelby was a bit underweight when she arrived.  She is fairly quiet and doesn't mind being touched though she doesn't appear to be halterbroke.  We believe she was born around 2010 or 2011.  Shelby developed a serious abscess in her right front foot in 2020 and it compromised the hoof wall.  As a a result she's been lame off and on on that foot and requires occasional medication for that.
