Shamrock Dew

Shamrock is a lovely Thoroughbred mare born February 7th, 1995.  She raced a few times and didn't win much so she was used as a broodmare.  Shamrock came into our care in 2008, along with 3 other mares, when they were going to be sent to slaughter as the owner was 'cutting back' on their horses.  Shamrock was fostered out originally at one home but came back as she was needing extra feeding over the winter. She has a large flat sarcoid on her neck. It’s a benign growth and doesn’t bother her.
By coincidence in early 2019 we took in one of Shamrock's offspring, I Dew Flirt (Flirt), who was born to her in 2001.
