Sasha​

Sasha is a beautiful paint broodmare that came to the Rescue in 2008 along with 3 other mares.  She was born in 1998 and her registered name is Im Extra Special.  She is not sound as she has arthritis in 2 of her feet.  She is quite shy of people but can be haltered and trimmed.  Sasha is fostered by Janine, one of our board members, along with several other of our special needs horses.  Sasha had neurectomy surgery on one of her feet in 2019 which greatly improved her comfort for 5 years.  Now she's getting special shoeing (rocker shoes) which are keeping her very comfortable still.
