Rain​

Rain  (Sher Lady Rain) is a Quarter Horse mare that was born here at the Rescue on May 8, 2005, to one of our first rescues, Lady (Sher Lady Moore), a QH pmu mare.  Rain was adopted out as a yearling and then returned when she was 2 with a shoulder injury.  We determined she must have been roped and thrown as you can see an indent that developed in the muscles around her neck shortly after she came back.  Rain was quite head-shy when she came back as well.  Thankfully she is more settled now.  She is halterbroke and good for the farrier.
