Penny#2

Penny is a little pony mare that was surrendered in June, 2021.  She was rescued by her previous owner from a bucking pony operation as she was heading to slaughter.  Penny was born in approx. 2011 and was quite traumatized and does not like or trust people.  She is very flighty and nervous.  We sent Penny to a very good trainer for a few weeks when she arrived so that she could be evaluated.    We determined that Penny would do best remaining here at the Rescue with the main herd, where she can develop  relationships with some of the other horses and live a  stress-free life.
