Otis

Otis is a black QH type gelding.  He arrived, as a stallion, at Bear Valley in March/22.  He was originally rescued from going for meat at an auction about 6 weeks prior by another rescue group, Horse Heroes Alberta.    We were told that he was very underweight and beat up when they got him from auction.  He was gelded immediately when he arrived at Bear Valley and has recovered well. Once his testosterone levels have dropped he will join the main herd and finally have some good company.  Otis is halterbroke but not great with his feet, yet.
