Opal

Opal is a big Percheron cross mare that came to us from a horse dealer in November, 2021.  We didn't gt any history on her except that she was bred to a Percheron stallion for a 2022 foal.  Opal is blind in one eye.  That eye was quite weepy but we've been able to clean it up and she's feeling much more comfortable.  She was confirmed to be pregnant and foaled a very nice colt, Garnet, on April 17, 2022.  Opal is good to halter now and leads and trailer loads fairly well.  She was likely born around 2005.
