Monkey​

Monkey is a nice, quiet, 2007 sorrel gelding, registered with AQHA. He had a bad run-in with barbed wire as a yearling and seriously injured his hind leg.  His previous owner surrendered him to us in 2008 because she wasn't able to continue to deal with his injury. He is very nice to handle due to all the care he required during his recovery.  For the first year that we had him, we wrapped his leg continuously and finally got rid of all the proud-flesh that he had developed.  He has a hitch in his stride from nerve damage but manages well.  His leg wound never completely healed up until we started a new protocol with it wnter of 2023-2024.  After about a year of treatment it looks like we finally have success!
