Millie

Millie is a 2009 roan/paint filly. She originally came to the rescue as a weanling, surrendered because the owners, who had rescued her from auction, were unable to work with her.  She was adopted out as a yearling and came back in 2012 as her adopter passed away. Millie is a really well-built little mare, about 14 HH, but she has a nervous temperament. We were told she by  her previous home that she'd spent some time with a trainer, but she is so fearful that we aren't sure how much or what sort of handling she'd actually had.   Millie had a serious wound to her chest in 2017 that took several months of treatment but she healed up well without an scarring.  It was quite an ordeal to treat her wound but we managed!
