Karesse

Karesse is a bay Arabian gelding born in 2001.  He was surrendered July, 2023 along with 2 other horses when his owners could no longer manage their care due to lack of handling and experience on the owners' part.  Karesse is supposed to be quite good to handle once caught, but is very difficult to catch - he'd last been haltered in 2016.  He was one of an Alberta SPCA seizure of 100 horses in 2008 and his current owners got him shortly after that.  Since arriving at the Rescue we've been working with Karesse so he's better to catch and halter and he's had his hooves trimmed.
