Inez

Inez is a pretty, bay, Quarter Horse mare that was surrendered in November, 2024 when her owner was no longer able to care for her.  Sadly, she'd been neglected for a number of years and came to us with a severe case of rain rot, also know as rain scald.  It is a bacterial infection of the skin that causes bumps or lesions that can become infected.  Thankfully it is easy to clear up with a dose of antibiotics or a medicated shampoo (weather permitting!).
Inez is friendly and good to handle though she has not been ridden in many years.  She was born in 1999 or prior, so at her age we consider her retired.
