Dollar#2

Dollar is a very nice solid colour APHA mare born in 2005.  She was originally surrendered in October, 2021.  Dollar is quiet and was broke to ride but she was diagnosed is PSSM1 and has some soundness issues.  She had been neglected in the past but her last owner had her for 3 years and had done a lot of work with her prior to surrendering her and she is good to handle now.  However because of her history and prior abuse she can react badly to pressure if pushed too hard.  Dollar was adopted in May of 2022 but was returned to us for 'bad behaviour' in the summer of 2024.  We believe that her adopter either didn't take into account, or forgot, Dollar's history, even though we were very transparent about her past and gave them all the information we had.  We are happy to have her back with us and she's settled back in with the herd.
