Demaris

Demaris is a  pretty paint mare with blue eyes, about 15 HH.  She came to the Rescue summer of 2015 from an impound lot.  She was the dam of the colt Denali who has since been adopted.  Demaris is unhandled and quite fearful.  She had bad sunburn on the left side of her face when she first arrived and that has cleared up though it left some minor scarring.   We aren't sure of her age but she was probably born around 2008 or 2009.  Though she hasn't been worked with, she now nickers when she sees us.  She won't take a treat from your hand but will wait for you to drop one on the ground for her.
