Dally

Dally, a little Arab gelding, came to us in October, 2024.  He was born about 2018 and was underweight and quite sick when we got him.  He was abandoned at someone's farm under questionable circumstances and that person contacted us asking if we could take him in.  They had already treated him for a bad case of ringworm, and he had a very snotty nose and was coughing.  Our vet diagnosed pleurisy (inflammation of the lining of the lungs behind the chest wall).  After a month of antibiotics Dally recovered and has gained weight.  His hooves are a bit deformed from neglect but should improve with proper farrier care.  He was supposed to be broke to ride (kid safe) but definitely is not, as he does buck!   He can be difficult to catch and nervous, but is getting much better.  He would be best as a companion only.  If someone very experienced would be interested in re-starting him at some point we might consider it.
