Dallas#2

Dallas is a lovely grade Quarter Horse mare that was born in 2012.  She came to the Rescue from a feedlot in 2013 as a weanling.  She was adopted out for a short time in 2016 but was returned when she came up lame.  She appeared to have injured her right hind fetlock.  She was some residual swelling but is no longer lame.  Dallas is a very friendly and quiet mare.  She is halterbroke and footbroke, likes people, and is nice to handle.  She has a beautiful face.  Dallas was subsequently fostered out from 2018 until mid-2024 and came back to us when her foster family was moving across country.  Sadly, she came back to us grossly overweight.  Hopefully now that she's back with the herd she'll get back into shape.
