Alix

Alix is a  black mare, possibly with some Thoroughbred breeding. She was part of an ASPCA seizure of 26 horses that came to the Rescue in 2010. She is halter-broke but has had minimal handling. We have been able to work on getting her feet into shape and though she is not great for the farrier, she is trimmed regularly on the tipping table. She sometimes has a slight bit of lameness in one front foot but does well with occasional medication.
